Apple has just announced its latest phones, the iPhone 17 series. That's three upgrades to familiar models as well as the brand-new iPhone Air, which is replacing the Plus. If lining up in a queue on release day is not your style, but you still want to secure one right away, you'll be able to reserve the iPhone 17, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max or iPhone Air from 10pm AEST on September 12th, before the September 19th release date.Aplpe’s iPhone 17 features a fresh design with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and slimmer bezels. And after years of waiting (and a ton of grumbling), the base iPhone finally features a 120Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, Apple’s new A19 chip is faster and also more energy-efficient, particularly when teamed up with Apple Intelligence. If you are upgrading from an older iPhone, you'll see a significant increase in speed and better gaming performance thanks to ProMotion.
Camera wise, you'll find a 48MP Fusion main camera (shooting 24MP photos by default) as well as a 2x telephoto lens. The ultra-wide camera also receives an upgrade to 48MP, making macro photography more detailed and much more impressive.

The iPhone 17 will come in six colourways: black, white, steel gray, light blue, green and purple.The iPhone 17 Air is set to come in black, white, light gold and sky blue.
